German contingent Borussia Monchengladbach will target a double against Celtic when they host the Hoops at Borussia Park on Tuesday. The fourth round game of the UEFA Champions League group stage could very well be the decider for who makes it to the Europa League and who comes back empty handed. In fact, there is a significant chance for the winner of this one to go and have a crack at the second spot if Barcelona beat Manchester City once again.
The two teams met each other a week ago at Parkhead and Celtic lost that time out despite having the control over the game. It was Kolo Toure’s two dreadful errors that led to both two goals for the German side. Celtic have won all three games after that which includes wins over both Rangers and Aberdeen and will be all pumped up for the fixture.
Celtic have an unassailable lead at the top of the Premiership and it looks like they will have another easy title charge whereas Gladbach are struggling in Bundesliga. Both will like a long run in the competition and will be keen to win this game.
