Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that the rest of the Premier league will have to play catch up with Manchester City. Arsenal thrashed Hull city 4-1 on Saturday with goals from Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez and new signing Granit Xhaka.

Arsene Wenger said that Manchester City is the team to beat this season. City haven’t lost a single game this season and has been in superb form under new manager Pep Guardiola.

Arsenal are trailing City by five points and will travel to Etihad in December. “I would prefer to be five points ahead.” “We’ve only played five games, at the moment, Manchester City are the better team as well as the most consistent. We have to play catch-up a little bit, but hopefully we can do that.”

Arsenal are known to start off slowly and considering City’s rip-roaring start, the Gunners can ill-afford to drop any more points. With key players in shape, the Gunners could soon climb higher and challenge City for the top spot.
