Arsenal player Alexis Sanches has picked his all-time favourite eleven but no Arsenal player has been included in the team. Alexis joined the north London side from Barcelona for a whopping 37.1 million euros.

Sanchez’s ultimate eleven

Oliver Kahn, Carles Puyol, Paolo Maldini, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Xavi, Ronaldinho, Diego Maradona, Ronaldo de Lima, Lionel Messi

Sanchez was on target against PSG as Arsenal drew with the French giant.

He included three players from his former club and it seems that he is missing Barcelona! The Chilean has revealed that his all-time favourite player is Ronaldo. Sanchez spent three years with the Catalans before moving to Arsenal. Sanchez named Puyol as the captain. He included Xavi in the midfield and placed Messi on the right wing.

“Then, just in front of the defence, I would have Xavi who I also played with at Barcelona. I have never seen a player in midfield who is so good on the ball. He’s like the heart of the team.” Sanchez said.

“In front of him I would have Ronaldinho because of the sheer magic he weaves and the sense of joy he creates.” Sanchez added.

“To Ronaldo’s right would be Messi – who I also played with Barcelona. I think this is the best position for him.”

Sanchez whose contract is expiring in 2018 has started discussion over a new contract.

In Sanchez’s team – Oliver Kahn is the custodian because of his desire and aggression, Roberto Carlos because he is just fluid on the ball, Paolo Maldini because he is a natural fighter and wins every ball, Ronaldinho because “of the sheer magic he weaves and sense of joy he creates”, and Diego Maradona as “we all know what he is capable of”.
