Most of the West Ham fans have all but given up on Slaven Bilic turning the London Stadium into West Ham’s new fortress, as they went 3-0 down to Southampton on Sunday. This loss to the Saints leaves the Hammers with just one win and five losses in six Premier League games. The East London club also failed to make it to the group stage of the Europa League after a two-legged defeat to Romanian side Astra Giurgiu. Quite expectedly, the fans have started turning onto their manager Slaven Bilic who has to take the blame for such a dismal start to the season.

If the situation does not improve soon, we might see Bilic being axed by the East London club but only then when the club gets a suitable candidate to replace the Croat. The London club are pretty ambitious and should look for quality and proven managers and here are three managers whom they could go for.

Marcelo Bielsa

A pioneer in the football world, Marcelo Bielsa is a highly experienced manager and has been out of work for quite a long time. Managers like Pep Guardiola, Mauricio Pochettino, Jorge Sampaoli and much more have been influenced by the pragmatic Argentine gaffer who has the experience of managing teams like Argentina and Chile. Bielsa has never been in the Premier League and will definitely love to take a new challenge and West Ham do have the ambition and resources to hire someone like him.

Marseille's Argentinian head coach Marcelo Bielsa looks on prior to the French L1 football match between Olympique de Marseille and Stade Malherbe de Caen on August 8, 2015 at the Velodrome stadium in Marseille, southern France. Marcelo Bielsa stunned French football on August 8 when he quit as coach of Marseille just minutes after his team had lost their season opener 1-0 at Caen. "I have resigned from my post as manager of Marseille," the Argentine announced at the end of his post-match news conference. Roberto Mancini

Mancini is a proven Premier League manager and was the one who started Manchester City’s rise to the very top level. He won the Premier League with the Sky Blues back in 2012 and has achieved great success in Italy too.

The 51-year-old is right without a job since leaving Inter Milan this summer and would be welcomed at the East London club. Mancini knows how to bring quality players and has done so at each and every club he managed. West Ham could certainly go for someone reputed like Mancini in order to replace their present manager.

Andre Villas-Boas

Still only 38, AVB looks like the best possible candidate to replace Slaven Bilic. The former Porto boss has an unfinished business in the Premier League. He was not particularly a success at Chelsea and Spurs but his quality is unquestionable. The Portuguese is right now out of work since leaving Russia giants Zenit St. Petersburg this summer. West Ham could definitely go for the young but experienced manager if they decide to part ways with Bilic.
