Game week 29 kicks off on the 3rd of March at 12:30 UK time. So, make sure all your transfers are made by 11:30 AM UK time on the 3rd. The first game of GW 29 is Burnley vs Everton. There are then five 3 pm kickoffs on Saturday. These are Leicester City vs Bournemouth, Southampton vs Stoke City, Tottenham Hotspur vs Huddersfield Town, Swansea City vs West Ham United and Watford vs West Brom. The late kick-off on Saturday is Liverpool vs Newcastle United.
There are then two games on Sunday as Brighton & Hove Albion host Arsenal and Chelsea travel to Manchester City. Game week 29 concludes on Monday night as Crystal Palace vs Manchester United.
Here are three players you should sign this week.
Mohammed Salah (10.5)
Salah is probably the player to have featured the most in these FPL articles this season. However, it is with good reason. Since the winger arrived at Liverpool over the summer he has set the Premier League on fire.
So far this season Salah has scored a very impressive 23 league goals and also earned 10 assists in the league. This is a superb record for any player and for just 10.5 you need to have Salah on your side.
He is also in excellent recent form. He has scored five goals in his last four league games while also bagging two assists. This excellent form gives Salah a total of 227 FPL points already this season. The next closest is Kevin De Bruyne who is still a way of Salah with 174.
Furthermore, Liverpool are at home to Newcastle this game week. The Magpies have struggled somewhat since winning promotion last season. And they find themselves just two points away from relegation. Therefore, it is very likely that Liverpool, given their superb form, will very easily dispose of Newcastle with Salah almost certainly getting in on the goals.
Harry Kane (12.9)
Kane is the most expensive player on FPL this season at 12.9. But he is defiantly worth it. He is currently the Premier Leagues top scorer with a staggering 24 goals so far this season.
This makes Kane the top striker on FPL this season with a solid 173 points. The next closest being Sergio Aguero with 162. Kane is also in excellent form as in his last three league games he has scored three goals. Two of those games coming against Liverpool and Arsenal.
Also, Spurs are at home to Huddersfield Town this game week. Huddersfield are not having the greatest of seasons. They are the second lowest goal scorers in the league with 25 goals. And they have let in 48 league goals in 28 games. This is a poor defensive record and given what a top striker Kane has once again proved to be this season, he is very likely to put several past Huddersfield.
Xherdan Shaqiri (6.2)
Shaqiri is certainly not the best midfielder on FPL this season. However, if you are looking for a cheap budget option then Shaqiri could well be the player for you. As it stands Shaqiri has scored seven goals and earned six assists in the league for Stoke this season. Which is not the greatest. But considering how bad Stoke are doing, seven goals and six assists in quite good.
Moreover, Shaqiri is the 10th best midfielder on FPL this season. Which once again is not the best but for the price you pay for him, 10th is very good. Especially when eight of the nine people above him are much more expensive. Shaqiri has also managed to accumulate more points than the likes of Leroy Sane and Anthony Martial this season which further shows what a good bargain midfielder he is.
Stoke also play Southampton this week who are only out of the relegation zone on goal difference. And are having their worst season for some years. Meaning Shaqiri could well score and assist against them this game week.
