The most fickle job in football is perhaps the job of the manager. However, it is also the most sought-after job. The manager sets the club in his image and devises tactics and plans to steer them forward. If he is successful, he is treated like God at the club but if he fails, he is simply sacked for the next man with a message of formal gratitude. His previous record, image, abilities; nothing is considered when the sack comes.

Then again sometimes, it even offers a chance at redemption like the reports of Brendan Rodgers possibly moving to Arsenal. The Celtic boss was formerly in charge at Liverpool and came close to winning the Premier League title. However, he lost his job soon after and could now be on his way back to England to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.

Slaven Bilic
The former Hammers boss was pivotal in the club’s latest success over the last couple of seasons. However, things fell apart rather rapidly this season and Bilic was sacked. This means that he is available for hire and the Croatian would do a good job at Celtic where his team would be the favourites to win the title season after season.
Mark Hughes
Stoke City has been guided by Mark Hughes to three straight ninth-place finishes for 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16 season, their best place finish since 1974-75 before finishing 13th last season. However, their team which has added weight by bringing in new players like Jese from Paris Saint Germain, Kurt Zouma from Chelsea and Saido Berahino from West Bromwich Albion in January has failed to perform this season.
With the addition of stout and pacey attackers, they perfected their balance on the pitch. However, things fell apart this season. As is always the case with any club suffering a loss of form, the axe falls on the manager. Mark Hughes was no exception. He would be an ideal candidate for Celtic.
Marco Silva
Silva was sacked by Watford earlier this season. Watford’s decision to sack Marco Silva came as little surprise given his commitment issues at the club which resulted in their poor form. Reports had come out about Silva’s head being turned ever since rumours spread linking him with the managerial job at Everton surfaced. However, prior to all this, he pulled a decent season with Hull City and then was doing an excellent job with Watford as well in the first part of the season and thereby proving his credential as manager
