An exciting but well-fought first half followed by a dominant second half from the Premier League leaders saw Manchester City blow Leicester City out of the water with a thumping 5-1 victory on the night at the Etihad Stadium.

What an addition he has been at the back. Good with his reflexes and even better on the ball. He has the nimble footwork and excellent distribution skills. Amazing with his pinpoint distribution.
Kyle Walker 7.5
Attacked when his team needed to and stayed back and cleared anything unnecessary in the defence when required. A professional performance.
Nicolas Otamendi 5.5
Weakest player in the team and was completely at fault for Leicester City’s goal by allowing Vardy to swoop in and score the equalizer.
Aymeric Laporte 6.5
Was exposed to the Vardy effect with the striker running around all day and keeping Laporte busy. However, the young Frenchman did well to keep Vardy down to 1 goal on the night.
Oleksandr Zinchenko 6.5
A better performance than last time out. He is developing fast but smartly removed by Pep Guardiola the moment Mahrez came on.
Kevin De Bruyne 9.5
We have heard of a hat-trick of goals. How about a hat-trick of assists. This man is simply focused on feeding his teammates and can never misplace the ball. It seemed as if each of his passes had an address attached to them.
Fernandinho 8.5
A strong backbone to help the City attack flourish. Kept moving around the lines to break up innumerable Leicester attacks and was always alert to a key forward pass.
Ilkay Gundogan 7.5
Finally, he is showing the player he really is. Provided great assistance to both De Bruyne in attack and Fernandinho in defence. He can do a bit of both and do it perfectly. Just the man Pep needs.
Bernardo Silva 7.5
Had everything going for him tonight but for a goal. However, he was perfect in linking up attacks and was always looking to cause trouble to Leicester.
Sergio Aguero 10
A story of two halves. An average first half replaced by a stunning second half with four goals for the Argentine.
Raheem Sterling
Was on hand to finally dispatch a quick goal after his nightmare outing at Burnley. Was involved in most attacks and looks a different player once he gets a goal.
