Andy King developed his game in the Chelsea youth ranks but was released when he was 15-years-old. It was Leicester who provided him with the opportunity to make it in the English game and signed him up immediately at the time. The Barnstaple-born midfielder is a versatile presence in the middle of the pitch and can cover both ends of the pitch. He can fill out the number 10 role behind the lone striker as well as fulfil his defensive duties from deeper positions. King has been capped at international level for the Wales national team 44 times making him the player with the most international experience in the Leicester City ranks.
An experienced midfielder with title-winning experience will make a huge impact for a side which is trying to escape relegation. Nobody in their right mind would have predicted the Swans to come away with maximum points in their last two league fixtures against Liverpool and Arsenal and yet they did. The Gunners were caught completely off the mark last night as they saw Carvalhal’s men find the back of the net on 3 occasions and come away with the crucial win.
