Leeds United will travel to Hull City on Tuesday night after suffering four defeats in their last five outings in all competitions. The Tigers, on the other hand, are in dire need of some results in their quest to save themselves from a potential relegation from the Championship this season. Felix Wiedwald will once again start in goal for the Peacocks and is expected to be shielded by a back four of Pontus Jannson and Matthew Pennington in central defence while Gaetano Berardi takes his place at right-back and Laurens De Bock starts on the left-hand side of the backline.
Thomas Christiansen will be hoping that his defenders can keep a clean sheet versus the Tigers which will give them a good platform to boost their goal difference.
Midfield
Kalvin Phillips and Ronaldo Vieira will line up as the holding midfielders and the trio of Pawel Cibicki, Pablo Hernandez and Ergjan Alioski will play just ahead of them. They will be responsible for creating and scoring goals for the Peacocks and put an end to their recent poor run of scoring only four times in their last five games in all competitions.
Attack
Pierre-Michel Lasogga is expected to lead the lines for Leeds United up top. The 26-year-old will look to add to his goal tally of 7 goals in 18 matches in all competitions when he laces up to face the Tigers on Tuesday night. It remains to be seen if he can get his name on the scoresheet against Nigel Adkin’s side.
