Chelsea will find themselves lucky to have escaped with a point after their third 0-0 draw in the space of a week. Antonio Conte’s men were found wanting in attack and were lucky to have not conceded any goals on the night against a superior Leicester City side. Here is how the Blues players performed on the night.
Thibaut Courtois: 8
Making an excellent point as to why he is worth all the fuss with his new contract situation still covered in smoke. Made an excellent save in the first half to keep N’didi out and was on hand every time Chelsea needed him to stay in the match.
Marcos Alonso: 6.5
The Spaniard looks dead tired and needs some back up very soon if Chelsea expect him to turn up for the big matches in the second half of the season. Had a decent effort from a free-kick saved in the dying moments of the game.
Antonio Rudiger: 6
Looked shaky against Mahrez’s pace and needed Alonso to double up every time the Algerian came running at him. Despite being so well built he was easily outmuscled in defence by Jamie Vardy time and time again.
Gary Cahill: 4
The England international started the match in a shaky way and was taken off in the first half after he appeared to have pulled his hamstring muscle. Conte will be hoping the injury is nothing serious.
Cesar Azpilicueta: 6.5
A decent defensive display but way below his usual standards. The Spaniard was surprisingly outmuscled by Vardy and looked shaky against the Englishman’s pace.
Victor Moses: 4.5
A non-directional sense of passing complimented with an absolute lack of positional movement meant that Moses slowed down his team’s attack time and time again.
Tiemoue Bakayoko: 2.5
The Frenchman needs to find a new club where he can learn the basics of the game. His terrible first touch, lack of awareness and inability to do anything with the ball meant that Chelsea were carrying a deadweight on the pitch yet again.
N’Golo Kante: 7
Full of clever runs and busy interceptions the ex-Leicester man looked like the only Chelsea player with intent on the ball
Cesc Fabregas: 6
The Spaniard was not up to the scratch with fatigue clearly playing a part in his game.
Eden Hazard: 6
Not the best day in the office for the Belgian. His day was made even tougher with Leicester looking hungry and aggressive to dispossess him every time he was near the ball.
Alvaro Morata: 3.5
The Spaniard has to adapt his game to the league or he will risk the success of his career in England. He looks a player subdued of confidence and will need to clear his head out fast.

Did well to contain the threat of Jamie Vardy on the night.
Willian: 7
Was energetic and impressive and helped Chelsea move forward towards the end.
Pedro: 6.5
Increasingly looking like a player well past his prime.
