The second big clash of the new season is upon us with Pep Guardiola’s men taking a trip to Anfield to face Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. Manchester City were 5-0 winners last time the two sides faced each other with the case for Liverpool further worsening when Sadio Mane was sent off for a reckless challenge on Ederson.
Klopp will be crippled by the loss of his star player Philippe Coutinho for the match. The German will be hoping to avoid a repeat performance of last time’s encounter and coming away with a win to halt Manchester City’s incredible run.
As for Guardiola, who enjoyed another record by winning four consecutive Manager of Month award this week, the City boss will be keen to add another victory as he aims to become the first manager since Arsene Wenger to go through an entire season without a single defeat.
