West Ham United’s £5m bid for Bournemouth’s Harry Arter has been rejected according to reports from Talk Sport. Moyes have expressed concerns over the imbalance of the United squad and is currently scouting for proven talents in the midfield position. Already linked to Sevilla outcast, Steven N’Zonzi, Moyes will have to utilise the limited resources he has been provided to dig themselves out of the bottom three.
The former Manchester United manager got appointed to lead the relegation-riddled Hammers in November. Ever since his arrival, however, things have not changed completely. They did beat title contenders Chelsea 1-0 in early December but have failed to break clear from the bottom three.
Currently just two points above Stoke City in the 15th spot of the points table, United have a few favourable fixtures in the coming weeks to resurrect their position in the league. With Harry Arter’s bid already rejected although not completely ruled out, an addition is necessary with the second half of the season already upon us.
Jonjo Shelvey (Newcastle United):
Shelvey is a talented and flamboyant midfielder who is well accustomed to the English game. Announcing his presence in the Premier League while playing for Liverpool, the 25-year-old has appeared for multiple sides over the years.

Ki Sung-Yueng (Swansea City):
The Sunderland midfielder is a notable talent with over 5 years of Premier League experience. He arrived at the Liberty Stadium after breaking into his stride for the Scottish side, Celtic with 11 goals and 15 assists in 87 appearances.
Ki Sung-Yueng’s game is well rounded both offensively and defensively. He is technically adept to control the midfield in high-pressure situations and win back possession whenever required. With Sunderland struggling in the bottom of the EFL Championship, the 28-year-old might be eager to return to top-flight English football.
Joe Allen (Stoke City):
A strong presence in the Stoke City lineup ever since his arrival from Liverpool last season. The Welshman established himself as a key figure under former manager Mark Hughes 3 goal and 5 assists in 22 appearances this season. David Moyes’ bid for Allen also got rejected but the former Everton manager should go all in for the talented veteran.
Allen is not only a dominating presence around the midfield he brings in a decent amount of goals for teams.
