Game Week 19 of FPL begins on Friday the 22nd of December with a huge clash between Liverpool and Arsenal. So, your transfers need to be done by 18:45 UK time on the 22nd.
Everton vs Chelsea is then the early kickoff on Saturday. Leicester City and Manchester United are the late kickoff that day at 19:45 due to there being no games on Sunday.
The other seven games on Saturday are as followed. Brighton vs Watford, Manchester City vs Bournemouth, Southampton take on Huddersfield, Stoke vs West Brom, Swansea vs Crystal Palace, Newcastle travel to West Ham and Burnley face Spurs.
Here are three players you should sign this game week.
Kevin De Bruyne (10.2)
Manchester City are unbeatable this season in the league. So far, they have played 18 games, won 17 and drew one. They have also scored an astonishing 56 goals and conceded just 12.
So, when you see that they are at home to Bournemouth this week, it should be quiet obvious you need a City player in your team this week. The one you should opt for this week is Kevin De Bruyne.
The Belgian has had an excellent season for Manchester City which has seen him score six goals and earn eight assists in the league already. This makes him the top Manchester City midfielder on FPL. It also makes him Manchester City’s highest-earning player on FPL this season with 113 points. That 113 also puts KDB 2nd overall on the midfielder leaderboard. Only behind Liverpool’s Salah.
Also, given that Bournemouth are just one point above the relegation zone and winless in five, Manchester City could very well put five or six past them this game week.
Adrián (4.3)
Joe Hart started the season as West Ham’s number one. However, due to the Hammers leaking goals for fun and also a change in management, Hart has been replaced by Adrian.
This certainly looks to be a good call by new boss David Moyes. Because Adrian has started in net for West Ham’s last four league games. In those four games West Ham have let in just two goals and those two goals were against the unstoppable Manchester City.
The proceeding three games would see Adrian keep three clean sheets against Chelsea, Arsenal and Stoke City.
This shows both West Ham are improving under Moyes and also that Adrian is now their number one as he has already kept three clean sheets in just four games. Furthermore, West Ham are at home to Newcastle this week. Newcastle are in horrible form and cannot seem to pick up a win to save their life.
Therefore, given the excellent form West Ham are in, especially at the back, you would bet that they will keep another clean sheet this weekend. Plus, Adrian would cost you just 4.3. That is normally the sort of price you would pay for a sub keeper who never plays. Not one who has kept three cleans sheets in four games. Two of which have been against Chelsea and Arsenal.
Marcos Alonso (7.0)
Marcos Alonso is on the expensive side for an FPL defender. However, that should not deter you from signing him this week.
The Chelsea man has already racked up and impressive 90 points on FPL this season which has seen him to second on the defender leaderboard. He has also scored four goals, earned one assist and kept seven clean sheets. A very impressive record, especially in terms of goals scored for a defender.
Furthermore, Chelsea are playing Everton this week. While Everton have certainly undergone a resurgence under new boss Sam Allardyce, the likelihood is that Everton will set up the same way they did against Liverpool when they face Chelsea this week. This means Everton are very unlikely to go out and attack Chelsea. Which in turn means Alonso should keep a clean sheet this week for you.
