Harry Kane might already have decided his future destination. The Tottenham Hotspur centre-forward is widely regarded as one of the top hitmen in the European circuit and has been courted by a number of clubs.
Kane has been enjoying a superb run of form for the North London giants as he has been the main man for Mauricio Pochettino’s side. Spurs’ dominance in the Premier League has allowed them to put themselves in the same bracket with the Premier League biggies.
Kane’s future seems to be secure as of now but Real Madrid have long been on his tail as the Spanish giants are eyeing a potential deal for the English international. Cristiano Ronaldo’s form seems to have gone for a toss while Karim Benzema has gone on to frustrate the club with his lack of goal scoring intent.
So If Real are to replace them they would need a marquee player and Kane ticks all the boxes. The 24-year-old has established his authority in the big stages and is already touted as the best striker in English football.
According to some reports, Kane has revealed if he is to leave the North London club someday he would prefer a move to Real Madrid. Madrid president Florentino Perez would be delighted after hearing this and might try to turn this into reality in the next summer.
However, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is known to be a hard nut to crack and he would try his best to grind out the best possible value for Kane and Madrid would happily oblige that.
Tottenham were supposed to put a stiff challenge in the Premier League race but back to back disappointments has pegged them far behind. Spurs are now winless in the last three matches and have lost the ground in the Championship battle.
They are currently in the fifth position and are 13 points adrift of table-toppers Manchester City. Last season they came very close to crossing the last hurdle but a loss to West Ham United deep into the season did all the damage as Chelsea got away with the title.
Kane seems to be an avid admirer of Cristiano Ronaldo as he exchanged shirts with the Portuguese superstar when the two side faced each other in the Champions League. He would certainly fancy a chance to play alongside the former Manchester United forward and the Galacticos are hopeful that the time could arrive very soon.
