Manchester United were very sloppy against a rigid Brighton & Hove Albion but they somehow managed to edge past the Seagulls to run away with three points at the weekend. Ashley Young’s goal-bound shot deflected off Brighton defender Lewis Dunk and just looped into the goal to give the home side a reason to cheer.
The Red Devils maintained their steady approach in the Premier League as they are not too far behind league leaders Manchester City, who are the team to beat this season. City kept their cool as they got past a very disciplined Huddersfield City and have cemented their place on the top of the Premier League table.
Jose Mourinho’s side will travel to Watford this mid-week which could be a very tricky test for visiting side. The flair seems to be missing in the last few matches and again a side like Watford, they cannot take it easy. Marco Silva’s side have had a decent run this season and they will be looking to challenge this United side.

Defence
David De Gea has been arguably the most consistent performer for United and Mourinho will once again rely on the Spanish international. Chris Smalling has justified his selection with some errorless defending in the Red Devils defence and with Phil Jones and Eric Bailly both out injured He is likely to be involved again.
Marcos Rojo could make his way into the starting lineup. The Argentine international only made his return following a long injury layoff and Mourinho could hand him his first start this season.
Daley Blind could get some minutes in the left back position. Antonio Valencia will continue on the right side of the defence.
Midfield
Nemanja Matic might be risked again in this crucial match. Paul Pogba has been the most influential player since his return and he will start alongside Matic in the middle of the park.
Attack
Henrikh Mkhitaryan might get another chance to impress. The Armenian playmaker has had a bad patch and needs to rewind his form as the season is entering his main patches. Juan Mata will get another shot. He was awful against Brighton and it could be a crucial match for him as well.
