Liverpool are keeping tabs on their attacking style and have faced some criticism for not looking towards the other aspects of the side like the midfield and the defence. However, they are not looking to take the foot off the gas and concentrate on attacking and are eyeing some more attacking options to be added to the side in the near future.
The latest to attract their attention is their former attacking midfielder Suso, who left Anfield in 2015 to join AC Milan. The player was sent on loan to play for Genoa in January in the last term but displayed great skills and composure for the Rossoneri since his return to the team in June and has established himself as a key figure in their squad.
The winger has played a leading role on the side and has made 63 appearances for the Serie A outfit so far. His darting runs down the flanks, making it difficult for the defenders to mark him and his ability to score goals from a variety of ranges have made it easier for the Spaniard to carve a niche for himself in the side and attract attention from a number of clubs from all over Europe.
His former employers have also reportedly instilled interest in him and might look to table a bid for the 23-year-old in the near future. It seems that they want to make amends for their earlier mistake of letting go of the player and add some more firepower to their side.
However, it will not be easy for the player to make a move out of the San Siro, as the Rossoneri might not be willing to let go of their prized possession, who played a leading role in the last term to help them finish on the sixth position after a moderately successful season in the Serie A.
The Spaniard will be a good inclusion to the Liverpool side but it might not be good enough for the player’s future as he might have to sit out most of the time with players like Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino leading the attack for the Reds at the present moment and playing a very important role by scoring goals on a regular basis for their side.
However, there might be a chance for the departure of their talismanic player Coutinho in the next transfer window as he might join the Spanish giants Barcelona, leaving room for another attacker to be included in the side and Suso can fit in there well.
