Swansea City were not made a different start to their previous term, this season and have already succumbed to seven defeats this campaign. They are currently stranded at the 19th position and are staring in the eye of possible relegation.
The present predicament for the Swans has led to a number of speculations regarding the future of their current manager Paul Clement. The Frenchman has not been able to turn the tide in their favour this season and might be on the verge of facing the sack in the near future.
It is no more a surprise for clubs to sack their coaches after a comparatively short period of time in charge, the latest example being the Dutch coach Frank De Boer, who was fired from the top job at Crystal Palace only after four matches earlier this season. With a disappointing record for his new club Swansea, the same fate might also be waiting for Clement in the wings.
In case the 45-year-old is sacked, the Welsh club might look towards these managers to take charge of their club in the near future.
Ronald Koeman
The Dutchman is one of the most celebrated coaches and had good outings with Southampton and Everton in the last two seasons consecutively. However, he was not able to make his magic work this season and was relieved of his duty by Everton in the last month.
Given his experience at handling clubs in the top flight, Koeman might be a good option for the Swans as a replacement for their current manager Paul Clement.
Sam Allardyce
He has been the “crisis man” for a number of clubs and has led many out of trouble with his ability to manage his side very efficiently. He showed his mettle in the last term when he bought Crystal Palace out of the grasp of possible relegation and might do the same at the Liberty Stadium this season.
However, he has been tipped to be the new manager at Goodison Park as well and might take up the job in the near future.
Slaven Bilic
The West Ham United manager was sacked yesterday following his club’s dismal display in the last as well as this season. However, he is known for his cool and composed attitude and might be an able candidate to become the next manager for the Swans.
