Brighton and Hove Albion are having a mixed run so far in their debut season in the Premier League. The Seagulls clinched promotion last term from the Championship to play in the top flight for the very first time in their history but they have not been able to carry their form that they showed the Championship.
The gaffer Chris Hughton is far from impressed by the kind of start his team had in the Premier League, losing their first four games in the competition on a trot. However, they have shown some resilience since then and have managed to notch up three wins and three draws in their last six matches, igniting some hope among the faithful of surviving the top flight. The Seagulls are currently stranded on the 12th position in the league table.
They will be facing Swansea City, another side who have not been able to perform satisfactorily so far this season, in their next match. The Seagulls will look to notch up another important win to push them up the ladder and is supposed to go in with the following lineup.
4-4-1-1 Brighton Predicted Lineup Vs Swansea City
Defence
Captain Bruno has been the pinnacle of the backline for the Seagulls so far this season and will look to marshall his squad once again to keep the opposition at bay. The heart of the defence will be guarded by the two centre-backs Shane Duffy and Lewis Dunk, who performed well in their last match against Southampton to scrape out a draw.
However, Duffy and left-back Gaetan Bong will have to be extra careful in their approach as they are already sitting on one yellow card each.
Matthew Ryan will once again start beneath the crossbars for the Seagulls.
Midfield
Brighton have a number of good midfielders in their lineup, who have played their best part this season so far in stabilising the side.
The likes of Anthony Knockaert, Dale Stephens, Davy Propper and Jose Izquierdo will once again look to make a strong statement in the middle of the pitch and help their side clinch another important victory, against the Swans this time.
Attack
Pascal Groß is expected to start in the frontline for the Seagulls once again, assisting Glenn Murray to take the attack to the opposition.
The Englishman was the one to score the equaliser in their last encounter against the Saints to snatch a crucial point and will be expected to play an equally important role in their next match as well.
