Manchester United are looking in very good form this season, having lost only one match so far in the Premier League. The Red Devils are looking determined to clinch their 14th title this season and are looking to notch up wins in the near future as well.
The Manchester club is well aware of the fact that if they need to bag the coveted title, they will have to start getting more competitive and challenging in their approach, to help their cause. However, they might need to add a few more players to their side in the next transfer window and are ready to spill the cash if the situation calls for it.
As per reports, Manchester United are looking to strengthen their side even further with the inclusion of the Chilean superstar Arturo Vidal. The Copa America winner is currently rated as one of the best midfielders in Europe and is plying his trade for the reigning German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
The 30-year-old made his way into the Bayern Munich lineup in 2015, having spent a significant span of his career at the Juventus Stadium. He also played for the Bayer Leverkusen side in the past and as a result, possesses enough knowledge about the German clubs, which helped him to settle down at the Allianz Arena, without much ado.
However, things have not gone the way the Bavarians have expected, as far as this season is concerned, which has in no way helped their title defence and has also led to the sacking of their coach Carlo Ancelotti last month. This tumultuous situation at his current club seems to have affected the Chilean star in a very adverse way and he might be looking to join another club in the next transfer window.
Manchester United might grasp this opportunity to rope in the player and help them to the top of the table this season. If the deal comes to life, it can be a big catch for the Red Devils in their bid to clinch their 14th Premier League title.
Jose Mourinho is currently facing some turbulence in composing his lineup with the absence of his influential midfielder Paul Pogba, who is out of the side with an injury concern. The inclusion of the Chilean midfielder can be a big relief for the manager and he can be the perfect partner for the Frenchman at the heart of the midfield on his return.
But can Manchester United fend off interests from other clubs to land Vidal?
