Tottenham Hotspur are looking in gallant form of late and have won six of their nine matches so far in the Premier League. They will now look to overcome the frailties of the previous season and go for the title.
The North London club have a number of brilliant players in their squad, whose ominous presence has been productive for them throughout the last couple of seasons. With the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen in their forefront, Spurs can definitely aim to achieve higher stakes in the future and enlist themselves as one of the best clubs in Europe.
However, Mauricio Pochettino wants to add more weapons to his arsenal and is looking to make a few signings in the next transfer window. One such player is the English youngster Demarai Gray, who is currently plying his trade for Leicester City.
The former Premier League champions are currently in a spot of bother this term with only two wins in their bag. However, they have not experimented with Gray too much, which might push him out of the club.
Lack of first team game time is sure to be a factor in Gray’s head when thinking about his future and the lure of playing under Pochettino might be too good for him to turn down.
This has put a number of clubs on alert, including the North London outfit, who might be interested to add a few more attacking options to their squad. Their Argentine manager has always been a connoisseur of youth and has been a mentor to a number of young talents at his present as well as former club, Southampton, bringing the best out of them and establishing them as future stars.
Gray has already proved his potential with the Foxes and has the ability to cover a lot of ground with his incredible ability to run with and without the ball. He can score from both long as well close ranges and is also good in the air. He has the ability to bamboozle the defence with his swift footwork and deliver crisp passes into the attacking third.
Though the sacking of their former manager Craig Shakespeare might be a boon in disguise for the 21-year-old winger. The new manager might look to add him to his plans in the future but at the moment, a move to Spurs look profitable for all involved.
