Arsenal are looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League, having won their last match against Everton by 5-2. It will act as a morale booster for the Gunners, who will now be eyeing similar results in the near future as well.
The North London club started their season on a lowly note, having lost two matches already. However, they are looking to claw their way back to a better position on the league table and might look to add some new players to help in achieving their season goals.
They currently lack quality players in their squad and are in need of adding some top class names to their side. One such player, who might help to bring a world of stability to the side is the Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal, currently adorning the German side Bayern Munich.
Vidal is one of the most renowned names in world football and has added a lot of variety to the current Bundesliga champions. The player is known for his ability to retain possession in the midfield and helping his teammates by passing the ball in the right areas to score goals.
The 30-year-old Chilean central midfielder is eyed by a number of big-name clubs from all over Europe and the North London might make a bid for the player in the near future. Reportedly, the player might make a move out of the Bundesliga club and the Gunners are eyeing the right opportunity to rope him in.
They will have to fight for his signature with the Italian giants Inter Milan, as the Serie A club are also looking for top class players to replenish their side in the near future. It might suit the Chilean as well, given his rich experience in Italian football with his former club Juventus.
The Gunners, however, are not giving up on their hope to add the mercurial midfielder to their side. The fact that they lose two of their superstars in the form of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez in the next term might add to their woes and they are in dire need of someone like Vidal to stabilise their midfield.
Arsene Wenger is well aware of the fact that his side’s dismal performance in the last term and inability to hang onto a fourth position finish have put them in complete dire straits and the Chilean midfielder can be an important addition to the side helping them to a better finish this term in the Premier League.
But can Wenger lure him to the Emirates?
