Unfortunately, his career with the eighteen-time English champions hasn’t gone as expected and some sort of resurrection is the call of the hour.
The Englishman is a crafty forward whose entry into Rodgers’ side would automatically enhance their flair. Renowned for his pace and shrewd movements, Ings has the ability to stretch the defence as well as notable predatory instincts that make him a handy package up front. Besides, he knows how to make the most of the chances handed to him, toils relentlessly and shoots the ball fiercely from the distance.
Although the Hoops do have some quality attacker, Ings could be a morale-boosting signing for them who could steer them towards the silverware.
