With only two wins in the last five matches, Arsenal will be looking to come out all guns blazing in their next match and win it when they meet West Bromwich Albion, who are known for the immense depth in their defence that can keep any opposition at bay. However, the Gunners will be looking to grab all the three points from this match as they know how important it is to get a win under their belt as they continue to look for a better season in the Premier League after last year’s dismal performance.
The North Londoners will be once again without their striker Danny Welbeck as the English international continues to nurse an injury which is set to keep him out until October. However, there is a chance that Alexis Sanchez might start after he came off the bench in their last match in the Premier League against Chelsea last week. There might be still no hope for midfielder Jack Wilshere to make the cut into the team for this match even after he featured for 90 minutes against Doncaster Rovers during the midweek clash in the EFL Cup.
Defence
The Gunners continue to play with their 3-4-3 formation, which might find the likes of Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal and Shkodran Mustafi stabilising the backline. The back three dished out a good performance in their last match against Chelsea and hold them to a 0-0 draw and will hope to repeat their performance and help their goalkeeper Peter Cech keep another clean sheet in the next match against the Baggies.
Midfield
The new signing Sead Kolasinac has been a revelation for Arsenal so far this season and showed some great skills after being deployed on the left wing in their last match at Stamford Bridge. He will look to do the same in the match against West Brom and will look for ample support from his colleague Hector Bellerin, Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka in the middle of the pitch.
Attack
Alexandre Lacazette will be spearheading the attack in this very crucial match and is likely to be supported by the attacker duo of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, as they look to take on a very well organised defence of the Baggies in their own backyard and try to the put the ball in their net.
Predicted Lineup
Cech, Koscielny, Mustafi, Monreal, Bellerin, Ramsey, Xhaka, Kolasinac, Ozil, Sanchez, Lacazette.
