Manchester United are looking in good form in the Premier League at the moment and are looking forward to continuing their good run in the competition and retain their place at the top of the league table.
The Red Devils have won three and drawn one of the first four matches so far this season and are expected to continue their good run in the forthcoming days as well but might need a little external influence in order to regain their place as the Premier League champions.
The man in charge at Old Trafford, Jose Mourinho, is well aware of the fact that his side will have to fare with some of the big name clubs in the campaign as of yet and has been poised to get some more top class players into his side to revamp it even further, having already brought in players like Romelu Lukaku, Victor Lindelof, Nemanja Matic and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to add to his strength for the new season.
Reportedly, the Portuguese mastermind is looking to make a bid for the French youngster Thomas Lemar in the forthcoming transfer window. The player has already been subject to a bid from Premier League rivals Arsenal, which was rejected by the player himself even after being accepted by his present club AS Monaco as he decided to stay put with the French Ligue 1 champions for the new season as well.
The player has been one of the main factors behind his side’s gallant performance in the last term, having led them to a triumph in Ligue 1 and making it possible for them to get into the semi final of the UEFA Champions League as well. However, unlike his other colleagues like Kylian Mbappe, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Bernardo Silva and Bernard Mendy, the player has decided to stay back with AS Monaco.
The Red Devils are looking to bring in a player who will be able to sharpen their attack from the wings and also contribute in scoring. With his swift footwork and dazzling runs down the left wing, Lemar can be the perfect player to fit the bill for the Portuguese mastermind, as he looks to bring in competition for Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.
Though the player has made his stand clear by rejecting a big bid from one of the big name club from the Premier League in the form of Arsenal, Manchester United might make an offer as big as their arch rivals to test the resolve of the French youngster in the winter transfer window. But is Lemar the right man for United?
