The 23-year-old has, however, found it difficult to have a regular place in the starting lineup since his arrival at the club in 2015. This has made the player disappointed with the bits and pieces role that he has been handed so far by the Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane and has made him look for a move out of Santiago Bernabeu to a club where he can get regular starts.
Known for his swift footwork and shot making ability from distance, the Croatian attacker can bring variety to the attack for Liverpool in the following days, in case they make a move for the player in the next couple of days. His ability to head the ball into the back of the net while vying with the defenders in aerial duels can give an added advantage to the Reds as well.
Liverpool have won their last two matches in the Premier League with supreme domination over arch rivals Crystal Palace and Arsenal and are looking to extend their unbeaten run in the following days as well. Hopefully, the inclusion of a player like Kovacic will surely help them to achieve their much-desired goal.
