Gareth Bale is one of the most highly regarded players in the current scenario, having played a very important role in the lineup for the reigning Spanish champions Real Madrid over the last few years and has secured a place as one of the top attackers among the football fraternity, playing alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema to spearhead the attack for one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
However, the Welshman seems to have been pushed down the pecking order in the last term upon the inclusion of the Spanish youngster Isco, who took his place in the starting eleven owing to an injury that kept him out of action for a chunk of the season in the second half. The Spanish attacker showed great composure and ability to turn even the toughest of contests in favour of his side by scoring a number of goals and proved his selection in the first team absolutely worth it.
This made Bale understand the fact that there will be no more automatic selection as far as his place is concerned and he started looking for a new club in the summer. He has since been linked with a number of clubs including the Premier League giants Manchester United.
The Red Devils were in dire straits in the last term and have looked for top class options in the summer transfer window so as to eradicate the problems they have been facing in the past season regarding the lesser number of goals they scored in the Premier League that made them end up at the sixth position in the league table, a rank too low for the liking of their fans as well as the players themselves.
In order to revamp their side, Manchester United spent millions in the summer to get themselves a number of top class player in their squad for the new season, including the arrival of the Belgian marksman Romelu Lukaku on a club record transfer fee. The new arrivals have started to show their colours already, with Lukaku scoring in two of their last three games to make them look formidable once again with a brilliant attacking lineup.
However, it seems that the Red Devils are looking to sharpen their attacking edge even more and have reportedly made a bid for the Real Madrid star to be brought into the side before the transfer window closes this summer. Their lineup can look something like this with the inclusion of Bale into it-
De Gea, Valencia, Jones, Bailly, Blind, Pogba, Matic, Bale, Rashford, Mkhitaryan, Lukaku.
