Real Madrid are right now having a gala time and they are probably in their best shape since the “Galacticos” era. They became the first ever team to successfully defend their Champions League title and would like to continue the same but this time in the Spanish top tier.
Real Madrid are set to welcome Valencia which could be their first tricky test in this new season. When it comes to quality no team can be compared with the Spanish giants but a bad day in the office can give Valencia a chance and that is something they would be hoping for.
Real Madrid ran riot against Deportivo La Coruna in the first match as they slammed the Spanish side 3-0 to open their account in the La Liga. Valencia have undergone a drastic overhaul in the transfer market as the owners have been very adamant to come out from the tough time the club has been facing in the last two seasons.
Predicted 4-3-3 Real Madrid Lineup Against Valencia
Defence
Keylor Navas will be in goal. The Costa Rican shot stopper has been pretty consistent and his confident goal keeping has the backing of gaffer Zinedine Zidane. The 30-year old will be in the Madrid goal and needs to make a statement by putting in a solid display.
Zidane has to chalk out his plan without the services of Sergio Ramos who got the marching orders in the last match. Nacho Fernandez is expected to fill in his place. Raphael Varane is set to return to the starting lineup.
Marcelo has transformed himself into one of the best-left backs and he will continue to use his trickery on the left side of the defence.
Dani Carvajal should start on the opposite side.
Midfield
Zidane is unlikely to experiment with his midfield setup. The French gaffer has maintained a discipline in his team selection throughout the last season and is likely to implement it in this season too. Casemiro will take his position at the base of the midfield to provide the defence with an extra layer of security.
Luka Modric and Toni Kroos will complete the three man midfield.
Attack
In Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence, the pressure will be on Isco who has been the centre of attention. The Spanish international is destined to start on the left flank but will have the license to roam around the park.
Gareth Bale will try to take command from the right flank.
Karim Benzema will try to take on the opposition defenders.
