Scottish Premiership outfit Rangers haven’t had a stupendous start to their new campaign in the Scottish top flight as they have successfully chiselled merely 4 points from their first 3 league outings. The Gers registered a win against Motherwell in their opening fixture and that was followed by their loss at the hands of Hibernian and a draw against Heart of Midlothian.
Pedro Caixinha has been a really busy manager this summer in terms of his recruitments and has added many new players to his arsenal, with the likes of Bruno Alves, Ryan Jack, Daniel Candeias, Graham Dorrans and Alfredo Morelos to name a few. With their new acquisitions being introduced at the Ibrox Stadium, it was implied that they would need time to get together as a unit, but they are really capable of achieving good things if they fire on all cylinders.
The Light Blues are due to make a trip to the Global Energy Stadium on Sunday to lock horns with Ross County in their fourth fixture of the 2017-18 Scottish Premiership season. The Staggies are currently placed 9th in the league table with 3 points after their win against Dundee and a couple of losses against Aberdeen and Motherwell. We are anticipating that Caixinha would field a strong side and here is out 4-3-3 Rangers’ predicted line-up to face Ross County.
Defence
Wes Foderingham is expected to start under the bar as the custodian for the Teddy Bears once again. Ahead of him, the reliable pair of Alves and Fabio Cardoso is seemingly likely to get the nod to start from the former Al-Gharafa boss to fill the central defensive slots.
In the right-back position, it is seemingly likely that we would see James Tavernier start whereas, in the left-back slot, Lee Wallace is expected to be used in Caixinha’s starting line-up.
Midfield
New signings in the shapes of Jack and Dorrans are likely to be engineered alongside Josh Windass in the middle of the park. There has been an upturn in form seen by Windass this season while the newcomers have impressed for the team so far. They would be entrusted with the duty of not only cushioning the backline but to also push the team forward to attack the defence of the home side.
Attack
Kenny Miller is expected to start up front for the Glasgow giants against Roy MacGregor’s outfit, with Candeias on the right-wing and Morelos on the left-wing.
