West Ham United are facing a really hard time in the Premier League, as they have hit rock bottom with two back to back defeats, first at the hands of a rampant Manchester United side before a hard-fought loss to Southampton in Matchweek 2, which has made their Croatian gaffer Slaven Bilic rethink his strategies. He will now look to make the most of the final days of the summer transfer market to get some new players into the side to revamp it for the forthcoming matches.
Bilic has been sceptical about every department of his team, from defence to attack, with the midfielders failing to make an impression in the first two matches of the season, letting down the team and the supporters.
He is in need of a top-class player whose presence in the middle of the field will be inspirational enough to boost the best out of his colleagues and might find the best option in the form of Grzegorz Krychowiak, who is currently playing for the French giants Paris Saint Germain.
The Poland international, who has played for a number of top clubs all over Europe including the Spanish club Sevilla, contributing hugely in their triumph in the Europa League for three consecutive years, has been one of the most highly-regarded players in a central midfield position and can be the perfect option to fit the bill for the Hammers this season.
The 27-year-old made a move from French club Stade Reims to join Sevilla in 2014 and was an integral part of the Spanish outfit and all its triumphs in the European competitions. His brilliant form made the former French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain make a move for him in 2016 and he was brought to Parc des Princes to join an elite group of players and continue his career in France, from where he rose to stardom.
However, the love affair between Paris and the Pole did not last for long, as the player was pushed down the pecking order in the side and was denied first team involvement in much of the last season. He has featured in only 19 matches so far for the Ligue 1 outfit and might be on the move, looking for the right club to revamp his career.
West Ham United can be that perfect option for the midfielder, who can help them reshape their side for this season and fight for a place in the top half of the table.
