West Ham United have started their present campaign in the Premier League in the worst possible fashion, having lost two games on a trot and have ended up at the bottom of the table for the time being.
The coach of the Hammers, Slaven Bilic, is looking to make use of the numbered days left to the closure of the transfer window, as he is sceptical of all the departments of his current squad, especially the midfield, which has not been able to perform up to the mark and might need the infusion of new blood to uplift the performance.
The Croatian has been eyeing a number of options to be brought into the side in the role of a player who can hold the midfield in the best possible way and has identified Grzegorz Krychowiak as his most suitable option. The Poland international is currently playing for the French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain, a side he joined in 2016.
The 27-year-old is currently having a tough time at the French club and might be looking forward to making a move out of the club in case of a viable offer in the summer. With a number of clubs interested in him, West Ham United can be the perfect outfit to fit the bill for the Polish midfielder.
Krychowiak has spent a considerable amount of time in the French Ligue 1, having played for Stade Reims, featuring in 112 matches altogether. He made his move to the Spanish outfit Sevilla in the year 2014 and had probably the best time of his career so far, having featured in the side which won three UEFA Europa Leagues in consecutive seasons.
He made 90 appearances for them and scored five goals apart from six assists which he set up for his teammates, providing them with the opportunities to score goals and keep the team in advantage.
West Ham United, in the current situation, are in dire need of a player like Grzegorz Krychowiak, who has the experience of playing well at the top level throughout his career so far. It is imperative that the Hammers can get the deal done, which will be a huge boost for the side.
The move might be beneficial for the Poland international as well, who has been struggling to settle down at the Parc des Princes since his arrival in 2016. Clubs like Chelsea and Lyon are also looking to get the player at their disposal for the new season.
