Having spent a fortune in the summer transfer market this season, Everton started off their Premier League campaign in the best possible way, with a win against Stoke City in their very first match of the season. The Toffees have brought in as many as nine new players into the team for the new season with a view to strengthening their team to the core.
The Merseyside club, however, are not looking to end their spending spree and are willing to bring in some fresh blood into the squad in the form of the Belgian youngster Noah Fadiga. The 17-year-old whizkid is currently playing for his hometown outfit Club Brugge and has attracted the eyes of a number of clubs from all over Europe including that of the man in charge at Everton, Ronald Koeman.
The Dutch legend has been a connoisseur of young talents throughout his managerial career and has turned a number of them into stars under his benevolent tutelage. He is sure to have seen that spark of talent in the 17-year old player, who likes to play as an attacking midfielder. Incidentally, the youngster is also the son of former Bolton Wanderers player Khalilou Fadiga and is might look forward to step into his father’s shoes by making a move to the Premier League side in the summer transfer window.
Fadiga junior joined Club Brugge from arch rivals Anderlecht in 2016 and is entitled to stay at the club till 2020. However, that has not been able to demean the amount of interest from the Merseyside club that they have for the whizkid and are looking to bring him in to strengthen their future squad as well.
The youngster is known for his blistering pace in the middle of the pitch, making it difficult for his opponents to stop him from getting into the opposition defence and score goals. The 17-year-old has also shown his ability to score goals with powerful shots from a long way outside the box and with his head as well. He can also make darting runs down the wings to feed his teammates with pinpoint crosses and passes.
Everton have produced players like the England captain and highest goal scorer Wayne Rooney, who will be featuring for them once again this season, after spending a decade at Manchester United. The Merseyside club will hope that the Belgian youngster will also turn out to be a star for them and are willing to bring him into the club without much ado.
