Huddersfield Town seem to be making most of the current summer transfer window and have already brought in ten new players to kick-start their first Premier League campaign in 45 years, trying to make it one of the best ones in their history. They are now looking to make it the eleventh one and are willing to do it as soon as possible.
They have their eyes on the young full back Andy Yiadom, who is currently playing for the Championship side Barnsley. The player has been in good form of late and has been one of the players to grab a lot of eyeballs throughout the last term with his exuberant style of play. Huddersfield are hopeful that the 25-year-old will a perfect fit to their line-up for the new season.
The Terriers have been looking forward to bring in players who will help them to make their first Premier League season since 1972 a successful one in terms of results and the Ghanaian full back can be one of them. Reportedly, the defender will be undergoing medical at the Kirklees Stadium in the next few days paving his way to become a Huddersfield Town player in the Premier League.
The 25-year old defender has made it into the second tier in 2016 after playing for a long time in the League Two with Barnet FC. He is known for his darting runs down the wing and delivering crucial passes into the opposition defence, setting up his teammates to score goals. His swift footwork on the ball and his ability to take long range shots from way outside the box also make him a prized player for his team. Though not very good in the air, he makes up for that with his physical presence to keep his opponents at bay.
The Ghanaian international made 35 appearances for his team in the Championship in the last term and displayed some eye-widening skills throughout the season to attract the attention of a number of clubs in the Championship and Premier League as well. Now, with his medical being scheduled, it seems he is set to be the newest signing for Huddersfield Town this summer.
The Terriers are looking forward to fielding a strong team this season, which will be able to take on the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton, Tottenham and defending Champions Chelsea. They are hopeful that their new signings including Yiadom will be able to help them make it a memorable season in the Premier League.
