Real Madrid have faced their first and probably worst defeat of the pre-season at the hands of the Premier League club Manchester City in their USA tour match recently, which they lost by 4-1. The previous match where they had to face against another Premier League giant Manchester United also did not go well, as the match ended in a 1-1 draw and was eventually won on penalties by the Galacticos.
This has started to show already that the Spanish La Liga champions are in dire need of fire power and without the presence of Ronaldo, it will not be a very easy job for Isco, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema to score goals frequently. Here is where, it seems, the present Champions League winners are lacking a quality striker like Alvaro Morata, who left the side to join the Premier League champions, Chelsea, a few days ago.
Morata has been one of the most highly regarded forwards in the current situation and has the ability to score goals for his team on a regular basis. However, the Spaniard was restricted to a bits and pieces role in the attack by the Zinedine Zidane, the present man in charge at Santiago Bernabeu. This probably disappointed the young striker and he left for London.
Real Madrid, reportedly, have already lined up a few names who can replace Morata in their lineup in the next season, and some of them are-
Kylian Mbappe-
The 19-year-old French sensation has been linked with Los Blancos all through the summer transfer window, and it is very much possible for the youngster to become the perfect player in a striker’s position for the next season. However, it is yet to be decided whether the player will be used in a bits and pieces role or he gets to start alongside Ronaldo.
Kasper Dolberg-
The Dutchman can be the perfect replacement for Morata in the summer, given that he keeps showing the performance that he did for his present team Ajax in the last term. His pace and skills can really come handy, as the Galacticos look to line him up for playing the second fiddle to Karim Benzema.
Andrea Belotti-
The Italian youngster was in dazzling form in the last season for his club Torino and has attracted interests from a number of clubs from all around Europe in the summer transfer window. With his sharp shooting skills, he can come handy for the Galacticos as they look for the perfect replacement for Alvaro Morata.
