Huddersfield Town have made their way into the Premier League for the first time in 45 years and are looking forward to make their return memorable with a good season under their belt. The Terriers are also eyeing a major revamping of their squad by bringing in players from fellow Premier League and Championship sides and also from various European outfits.
The new boys of the Premier League are already looking to strengthen their side with a number of new signings, which has summed up to a total of nine players so far. The Terriers are however not looking to give up in their pursuit of a few more players and are looking poised to make a tenth signing as soon as possible.
The man in charge at the John Smith’s Stadium, David Wagner, has been eyeing some young prospects, out of which the Moroccan attacking midfielder Abdelhamid Sabiri has been on the top of his list. The 20-year-old has been in good form in the last few seasons and has attracted interests from a number of clubs from all around Europe.
Sabiri has been one of the most highly regarded players in the current situation in European football, having scored five goals in nine games for his current club FC Nurnberg in German Bundesliga Division 2. The player is known for his attacking style of football, paired with his ability to make darting runs into the heart of the opposition defence and scoring from both long range as well as close range efforts.
The youngster also has the ability to bamboozle the opposition defenders with his dribbling skills and can also hold onto the ball for a significant amount of time. He can also deliver pinpoint passes into the opposition defence, thus providing opportunities for his teammates to score goals and keep the team in advantage.
Reportedly, the player has been facing some recent problems with his team management and was dropped from the side’s last encounter against Borussia Monchengladbach. This has somewhat disappointed the player and he is now looking to make a move out of the club to ensure that he gets regular starts in the forthcoming season.
It might be a good opportunity to prove his mettle if he chooses to make a move into the Premier League with Huddersfield Town in the next term, as he will get the opportunity to play in one of the most intriguing football leagues in Europe and thus enrich his career to a great extent.
