At the end of every season, during the transfer window, especially the summer one, there are a number of players who move from one club to another in the search of a better career proposition. While some do it for a huge sum of money, breaking the previous records, some are compelled to do it for free, with their respective clubs not willing to keep them at their disposal any further.
Most of the times, these free agents are veterans, with the youngsters pushing them down the pecking order. However, they keep their experiences handy and are able to gift the football world some mesmerising moments and a number of commendable performances at the very end of their career.
This summer transfer window also sees a number of players without a contract, who are highly regarded among the football world for their recognisable service to the game. They have played with some of the best clubs in the World and might make heads turn with their gritty display of skills in the next season as well. Three such players are-
Zlatan Ibrahimovic-
The Swedish maestro is out of a contract and is currently undergoing medical treatment so as to get rid of the injury that compelled him to miss a good part of the last season right at the end. He has played with some of the greatest clubs in the world, including the likes of Barcelona, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United. Reportedly, the 35-year old can be a part of the Manchester United line-up in the next season as well, but will have to wait until December to know about any possible development.
Wesley Sneijder-
The Dutch midfielder, who is known for making darting runs into the heart of the opposition defence and score important goals for his team, has become a free agent after a contract termination with his former club Galatasaray this summer. Reportedly, the player has been linked with a move to the MLS as well as the Italian Serie A. However, the former Inter Milan star might also end up joining another Turkish Super Lig club in the summer.
Bacary Sagna-
The 34-year old French right back was released by Manchester City in the summer. Reportedly, he has been eyed by a number of Premier League clubs like Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Southampton to be a part of their team in the next term.
