Arsenal are looking forward to an important season in their next one, having lost their place in the top four of the League table, making themselves unavailable for the first time since 1998 to play in the Champions League. However, the Gunners are making sure that they have the players at their helm, who can turn the season in their favour, as they indulge in the transfer market.
The Gunners have already got themselves a top class striker in the form of Alexandre Lacazette, who was a potential target for them for quite a long time. It also has made the intention of their manager Arsene Wenger pretty clear that they are willing to finish in the top four once again in the next season.
The Frenchman, however, is not looking to stop at this by any means and is looking to find more options to sharpen his strike force in the next season. Reportedly, he has got his eyes on the prolific striker from Celtic, Moussa Dembele, who was in great form throughout the last term and might make a move to the Premier League in the summer transfer window.
Dembele, who has scored 32 goals in 48 games for the Hoops throughout the previous season, made his way into the Scottish club from the Championship club Fulham in the last summer transfer window.
His great performance made it possible for Celtic to make it to the top of the Scottish Premiership and also made them the Scottish Cup champions in the last season. They went on to win the Scottish League Cup to complete the array of domestic titles in the last term.
Dembele is eyed by a number of big name clubs from all over Europe including some from the Premier League. His prolific goal scoring record, paired with his ability to open up the opposition defence with his blazing runs and bamboozling footwork, that can out any top class defence to shame, has seen him become a player who creates chances for his teammates as well.
Arsenal have been in contention over the future of their talismanic striker Alexis Sanchez for the next season, as the Chilean marksman has denied penning a new contract with them, with his term coming to an end in next 12 months. Speculations are rife that if leaves the Emirates Stadium in the summer, Dembele will a good option to replace him for the Gunners.
