Manchester United are currently in the right frame of mind that might see them make a strong start in the next season, having secured the signature of one of the best strikers in the Premier League in the form of Romelu Lukaku and are looking poised to bring in a few more top-class players into the squad for the next season.
Speculations are rife that the current Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is looking to rope in a player who can play well as a winger as well as a striker alongside Lukaku, as the Red Devils will have the additional burden of competing in the Champions League in the next season. Reportedly, the Portuguese might be eyeing the Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez, with the ex-Barcelona star expressing his desire of playing in the Champions League in the next season in a recent interview with a Chilean Radio Station.
With his current club Arsenal having not been able to make it into the top four for the first time since 1998, it will not be possible, evidently, for Sanchez to play in the Champions League in the next season unless he makes a move away from the North London club in the next season. A number of clubs, however, are already poised to have the Chilean marksman playing for them in the forthcoming term and are ready to splash the cash to bag him, including the likes of Manchester City and Bayern Munich, with United getting into the list recently.
A player like Sanchez is a good addition to their line-up for any top class club, and the Red Devils are not supposed to be unaware of that fact. They are also backed by the power of money and can make a move for the Arsenal spearhead in the summer.
Sanchez can be a good addition to the squad for the Red Devils. He has all the requirements to become one of the greats for Manchester United and has proved his mettle over time, wherever he has played, whether it is in the Spanish La Liga or the English Premier League.
The Gunners, however, are not willing to let go of their prized possession in the summer, as Arsene Wenger is well aware how essential the Chilean is for the composition of his team. Sanchez, though, has declined to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium for the next season, with his current contract expiring at the end of the next season.
