Hector Bellerin has been one of the most influential players for Arsenal last season and has played a pivotal role in their backline to strengthen it. His efforts have been recognised by some of the biggest clubs in Europe including the Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona, who might be looking to bring him into their line-up this summer.
However, the Gunners are not willing to let go of their prized possession in the next season. The Spanish international has been in demand from the Catalan giants from quite a long time and reportedly Bellerin is also much interested in making a return to the club he started his career with in the next term.
The former La Liga champions are in dire need of reinforcements for the right back position and have failed to get a proper replacement for the Brazilian ace Dani Alves, who left the team on a free transfer to join Juventus last summer.
With the new formation that Arsene Wenger is looking to implement for the new season in his line-up, the Spaniard is sure to have a big role in that as a right wing back. However, in case the North London club need to let go of the player, these three might be the perfect replacement for him in the Arsenal squad-
Adam Smith-
The Bournemouth right back has been one of the most impressive players in the Premier League and has attracted a lot of attention from a number of big name clubs owing to his brilliant performance as a right back. The ex-Tottenham player is known for making darting runs into the opposition defence, thus helping his teammates with a regular supply of balls. He has been heavily linked with Tottenham as a potential replacement for Kyle Walker
Kyle Walker-
The England right-back has been linked with a number of clubs, with Manchester City leading the race to bag him for the next season after his relationship with Mauricio Pochettino has deteriorated in the last season. Arsenal can go for him as a replacement for Bellerin in the summer.
Dani Alves-
The Brazilian, with his guile and skills, can be a perfect replacement for the 22-year-old right-back at Arsenal. Reportedly, he has already confirmed that he has left Juventus after just one season with them and is expected to join Manchester City in the summer. However, Alves, being a free transfer agent, can also be targeted by Arsenal, who are desperate to find a good replacement for Bellerin in the right back position.
