Everton have been looking to bring in a number of new players into the side in order to launch a strong challenge as a contender for the Premier League title in the next season. They have already made good progress in the transfer market so far and have bagged two players of top class quality, one being the influential midfielder and skipper of the Ajax side that made it into the final of the UEFA Europa League and the young shot-stopper from Sunderland, the side which was recently relegated from the Premier League Jordan Pickford.
The Toffees are also on their way to make their third signing of this season in the form of Sandro Ramirez from Spanish La Liga side Malaga and has been looking quite strong already, even without the possibility of holding back two of their best players up front, star striker Romelu Lukaku, who is destined to join his former club Chelsea and attacking midfielder Ross Barkley, who has denied penning a new contract with only twelve months left on his old one.
As per sources, the Merseyside club have now shifted their attention towards the 18-year-old winger Josh Bowler, who is currently playing with the Championship club Queens Park Rangers and has been looking good to make it into top flight football with his prowess and exuberant playing style.
Ronald Koeman, the current man in charge at Goodison Park, has his eyes on the youngster for quite some time and has decided in favour of bringing him into the club to nurture him well and get the best out of him.
Reportedly, Queens Park Rangers had nullified the first two offers made by the Toffees that they launched in order to bag the player for the next term. The first one was of £1.5 million with another £1.5 million as add-ons, which was found not enough to satisfy the club.
However, Everton have been continuing talks for a new deal which might be satisfactory enough for both the parties to get themselves in a deal over the young winger.
Bowler is known to be one of the brightest talents in English football in the last season. He has signed his first professional contract with Queens Park Rangers in February this year and has made his debut against Norwich City on the final day of the competition. Unfortunately, they lost the match by 4-0 in what was a thumping defeat for the Queens Park Rangers side.
