Everton have been looking for a good start in their next Premier League campaign, being well aware of the fact that they will need to bring in a number of new players in the team, especially up front, as there is high chance that they might have to let go of their talismanic striker Romelu Lukaku in the summer owing to huge interest from the current champions Chelsea.
Ross Barkley is another player, who denied penning down a new contract. The English attacking midfielder has been one of the best players for the Everton side in the last few seasons and has attracted a number of big-name clubs who are looking to bag him for the next season.
However, Everton have already notched up two top class players in the form of Ajax skipper Davy Klaassen and Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. The Toffees are not looking to end their hunt for new recruits and are sure to be on a spending spree in order to get some more players for the next season.
Three players who might be picked by the Merseyside club to make their side stronger in the next season are-
Sandro Ramirez-
The Spaniard has been at the top of his form and is being considered as a perfect replacement for the Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, in case he leaves Goodison Park in the next season. The ex-Barcelona marksman has been one of the top strikers in the Spanish La Liga in the recently concluded season and has got 14 goals under his belt to show for his efforts. Ronald Koeman, the man in charge at Everton has been eyeing the striker for some time now and might be on his way to bring him into the side this summer.
Gylfi Sigurdsson-
The Icelandic midfielder has been a long-term target for Koeman and this might be the season to see him wear the colours of the Merseyside club. He might be the perfect replacement for Ross Barkley in case the English midfielder looks to make a move away from Goodison Park this summer.
Michy Batshuayi-
Reportedly, there is a possibility of a swap deal that can get the Belgian striker into the Merseyside club in the next season from Chelsea, to see his compatriot land at Stamford Bridge this summer. Batshuayi has been out of favour for most of the season, with Chelsea coach Antonio Conte handing him very few starts and majorly using him as a substitute.
