Anderso Talisca has fuelled speculation with his latest comments after he admitted it would be a dream move for him if somehow he gets the chance to play for Manchester United. The Brazilian U-23 player is currently on a two-year loan spell at Besiktas from Benfica. Jose Mourinho is a long-term admirer of the player and might make a move for the player.
The Portuguese gaffer has been given a £200m war chest to fulfil his transfer wishlist. Having already sealed the first signing of his summer, Mourinho would be looking for some more exciting prospects to lead United back to the glory days.
United recently signed Victor Lindelof from Benfica for a fee of £30.7m and it seems Mourinho might raid the club once again for the services of Talisca. After a very fruitful season with Besiktas, Talisca is expected to attract some heavyweight names in the summer. The 23-year-old midfielder has struck 17 times for the Turkish outfit in all competitions including a last-gasp equaliser against his parent club Benfica in the Champions League.
Liverpool was in the line back in 2016 with a move for Talisca but for some reasons the move didn’t work out. But Mourinho is pretty serious about the player as of now and with no others clubs in the race they might be able to get their prized asset pretty easily.
The attacking midfielder has a valuation of £15m which United can easily afford. The club is financially very stable and would use all their money power to showcase their strength in the transfer market.
United have been searching for a young player who would add more variety to their already stocked attacking section. Talisca could combine with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba to form a very formidable attacking lineup for Manchester United in the upcoming season.
Talisca can be stationed across the frontline and his versatility is something that he would bring to the Old Trafford and Mourinho would be looking forward to working with him. Given his tender age, the player will have the chance to reshape his skills under the tutelage of one of the best managers in the business.
Talisca is already proven in the big league and has a good finish under his belt. He also has the skills to score from dead ball situations and could certainly give a fair share of competition to Paul Pogba.
