Real Madrid have won the Champions League this season and have also secured the Spanish La Liga title toppling their arch rivals Barcelona from the defending champion’s seat. They had been crowned the Champions of Europe in the season before the recently concluded one and have become the first team to defend their title successfully in the history of the competition.
Though all the players have portrayed their roles in almost a pre-defined way, there have been players who might be offloaded from the team in the summer. One of them is the Welshman Gareth Bale, who has been out of favour under the coaching of the present manager Zinedine Zidane.
Reportedly, the Frenchman has been looking to hand more opportunity to the young Spaniard Isco and the forward has responded in the most positive way possible, playing a pretty crucial role to make a permanent place for himself in the starting line-up.
This has, as per sources, infuriated the Welsh captain Bale, who might be on the move in the next transfer window, leaving a space that will need to be filed by someone as good as him.
Speculations are rife that the Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been eyed by the Galacticos to be brought into the team for the next season. Given his current form and goal scoring record, he can be an immediate asset to the team and has also been looked up as a potential backup for the Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo, who has already turned 32 this year.
With Ronaldo, Benzema and Isco up front, there has to be the presence of someone in the midfield for Los Blancos, who can maintain a continuous supply of balls in the attacking third for the trio and will be able to chip in with goals from time to time. A versatile player like the Belgian captain Hazard is sure to have an impact on the team composition of Real Madrid as well.
There has been reports that the Chelsea star man, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, has already agreed to the terms of the Spanish club and might be on his way to Madrid this summer. However, Chelsea has given no confirmation about this and are looking to hang on to their talismanic player who has been instrumental in their gallant season this year.
Reportedly, Hazard’s £200,000-a-week wage structure has been offered to be increased to £300,000 by Chelsea, who want him to stay back at the club for the next season as well.
