Chelsea have ended this season in emphatic style by winning the Premier League trophy for the sixth time in their history. All their players have been up to the task, especially their Belgian star man Eden Hazard, who has played a pivotal role in securing the title for his club this term. His attacking brand of football along with his uncanny knack to score goals has attracted a number of potential suitors including some of the big name clubs from England as well as Europe for the next season.
The current champions of the Spanish La Liga, Real Madrid have also shown a lot of interest in bagging the player this summer. Reportedly, they have prepared a speculated bid of £100 million to bring in the Belgian playmaker from the West London club, which is going to beat the £89 million transfer fee record set by Chelsea’s arch rivals Manchester United when they brought in the French superstar Paul Pogba from Juventus last summer.
The Belgian playmaker has been one of the best players in the English Premier League this season. After having a pretty dismal outing last season, Hazard went on to score 16 goals in this term to help his club reach the ultimate glory of winning the coveted Premier League title. He also laid five crucial assists for his teammates to provide them with opportunities to score goals.
However, Chelsea are in no mood to let go of their prized playmaker in the summer and wants him to stay with them for many more seasons to come. Hazard, has also reportedly said that he has been holding meetings with the Chelsea management regarding his future at the club, but has not confirmed whether he will be leaving the club or not in the next season.
Real Madrid, as per sources, might consider Hazard as a man playing behind their famous trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema. In that case, the Belgian will have to suit into the role of a midfield enforcer to get the ball to the forwards on a regular basis and help them score goals.
Los Blancos have been looking desperate to win the Champions League final this season and continue their good run of form in the next season as well. For that, they are looking to bring in players like Eden Hazard, who can be able to play an important role in maintaining their brilliant record in domestic as well as European competitions.
