Ross Barkley, the influential midfielder of Everton, might look to make a move out of Goodison Park in the summer. The English ace of the Merseyside club has been delaying the penning down of a new contract, which is rumoured to be the aftermath of a disagreement between the club and the player over an increment in the current pay package.
This has reportedly irked a number of big name clubs in the Premier League to make a bid for bagging the midfielder for the next season. Being a strong contender for a place in the first eleven of the English national team for the World Cup 2018, it is very unlikely that the influential midfielder might make a move outside the Premier League in the next season. As per the rumours, the Englishman might make a move to any the three following clubs in the next season-
Manchester United-
The Red Devils have been able to win their first major trophy just a few days ago in the form of the UEFA Europa League, beating Dutch side Ajax in the final played at Stockholm. This has confirmed a place for them in the UEFA Champions League for the next season and it goes without saying that their present coach Jose Mourinho will like to bring in someone of the stature of Ross Barkley to add flare and strength to his squad for the next season, as they face some of the biggest teams from all over Europe.
Chelsea-
The Blues have become the Champions of the Premier League this season and will look to continue their triumphant run in the next season as well. It goes without saying that the inclusion of someone like Ross Barkley might make the West London club’s squad more enriched with his experience of playing regularly in top flight football with Everton. In case the Englishman makes a move to Chelsea in the summer, it might be helpful for their Italian coach Antonio Conte to replace the influential Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who might make a move out of the West London club in the summer.
Tottenham Hotspur-
The runner up side of this Premier League season, Tottenham has played some great football throughout the current season. Mauricio Pochettino, their current coach has reportedly been much interested in signing the English midfielder from Everton to increase the strength of the side for the next season. He is also aware of the fact that his side will be facing the best teams in Europe next term, and the inclusion of the Englishman might give them the much-needed firepower.
