Arsenal’s chances of finishing in the Champions League place are dependent on how they perform against Everton in the final game of the season. The Gunners still have an outside chance of qualifying in the top four should Liverpool fail to defeat Middlesbrough in the season finale week. The Gunners are in the fifth place, one point behind Liverpool who are in the fourth place and are very much in the race for a Champions League spot. Having been the in-form team in the last few matches, The Gunners really will have to take their chances against the Toffees.
Alexis Sanchez has been the centre of attraction in the last few matches and the Chilean is one of the top contenders for the Golden Boot award of this season
Predicted 3-4-2-1 Arsenal Lineup Against Everton
Defence
Petr Cech has been the first choice keeper for Arsene Wenger this season. The Czech had a pretty good game against Sunderland in the last match and would be hoping to end the season on a positive note.
The three-man defence has been very effective for Wenger and he is expected to continue with that. Since bursting into the starting lineup, Rob Holding has been absolutely excellent in the three-man backline.
Shkodran Mustafi has acclimatised himself beautifully in the middle of the defence and he will be alongside Nacho Monreal who has been the best player for the Gunners in the new defensive system.
Midfield
The Merseyside outfit has the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley who could be very threatening in these kinds of games. Wenger will use the double pivot of Granit Xhaka and Francis Coquelin to prevent any sort of mishaps. Among the two midfielders, Xhaka is the most attacking minded player and he needs to rotate the game from the deep.
Kieran Gibbs has flourished in the new left wingback role and will keep his position in the starting lineup.
Hector Bellerin is always the first choice in the right wingback position and he will be trying to keep the Everton defenders busy with his blistering pace.
Attack
Both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez were at their absolute best against Sunderland. Ozil created a record as he registered the most number of chances in a single match. Sanchez probably saves his best for the closure of the season and Wenger would once again rely on him.
Olivier Giroud will add some more quality to the Arsenal attack as he is scheduled to start the next game.
