Barcelona have a huge task on their hands when they host Eibar. Real Madrid claimed the top spot of the La Liga by securing a 4-1 victory over Celta Vigo. The Catalans moved to the second spot and have the slimmest chance of lifting the title provided Real Madrid falter in the penultimate game of the season as the La Liga race stretches till the last game of the season.
Barcelona did their part as they squashed off Las Palmas with a 4-1 win and now would only hope for a miracle. Their home form has been outrageous as they have lost on only one occasion at the Camp Nou this season. If Real lose their last match against Malaga and the Catalans win their remaining match against Eibar then the latter will be crowned as the champions on the virtue of a better head to head record against Real.
Predicted 4-3-3 Barcelona Lineup Against Eibar
Defence
It is very obvious that Luis Enrique will unleash his best eleven in this match as the last attempt in the quest for the La Liga title. Marc-Andre Ter Stegen who has been called up to Germany squad for the Confederation Cup will be in between the sticks.
Gerard Pique was not available in the last match due to a stomach problem but has started training and will be in the centre of defence. Barcelona’s fate is not in their hands but the one things they can do is not concede goals.
Samuel Umtiti will be assisting him in the defensive setup.
Jordi Alba has been a mainstay on the left side and will be in the starting lineup once more.
Sergi Roberto will start in the right back position.
Midfield
No changes in the middle of the pitch are needed as the midfield has accomplished many things in this season. Sergio Busquets remains a vital part of this squad and his individual performance should be at stake in this crucial match. His performance in the holding role would be very important for the Catalans.
Ivan Rakitic and Andres Iniesta will be the two central midfielders and will take the field keeping a special objective in their mind.
Attack
The same attacking trio will be across the front three positions. Neymar and Lionel Messi will be patrolling the left and right flanks respectively. The Brazilian scored a hat-trick in the last match and will be oozing with confidence.
Luis Suarez will be the only striker upfront.
