The present season of Premier League was far from satisfactory for West Ham United. The Hammers are currently stranded at 12th position on the Premier League table and are looking to end the season without any more slumps in their current position. However, their win against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend was a big boost for the Hammers to end the season on a high note.
West Ham has been facing a number of injury scares, which has led to the dismal performances in their current season. Their injured list consists of both their main men up front, Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll, who might have to leave the club next season given the Hammers receive good offers for them.
Reportedly, a number of names have been lined up to be included in their lineup for the next season as West Ham are facing a dearth of players who can score goals for them throughout the season. One of them is that of the Polish striker Lukasz Teodorczyk who is currently playing for the Belgian club Anderlecht.
The 25-year old has been influential for the club from Brussels over the years. He is a force to reckon up front, scoring a number of goals for them throughout his career. This season, the Poland international has already scored 28 goals in 47 appearances for Anderlecht and is reportedly being pursued by a number of clubs from all over Europe.
The Polish striker has played a pivotal role in the title haul for his club this season, scoring 20 goals in the Belgian League. However, his inability to score any in both of the matches in their quarter-final encounter against Manchester United in the Europa League was a prime reason for the Belgian club to get eliminated from the competition.
It goes without saying that the Poland international is a very important figure for Anderlecht and the club might have to face difficulties in their next season if he leaves them for any other club in Europe. Though any offer has not yet been finally made to rope in Teodorczyk from West Ham United, they might go for the Polish striker as soon as the transfer window opens with a deal lucrative enough to be denied.
Reportedly, the Hammers are also eyeing the out of favour Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge to be included in their side for the next season. Either way, the Hammers are surely going to strengthen up front.
