Of late, the Brazilian forward Jonathan Cafu has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs including the likes of West Ham United and Everton. The Merseyside team currently looks to be favourite to secure the services of the youngster for the next season. Reportedly, the mercurial Brazilian, who currently plays for the Bulgarian club Ludogorets Razgrad, has a release clause of £10.2 million on him. Given the form Cafu is in currently, this can be a real bargain for Everton, who might lose their main striker Romelu Lukaku to any of the big name European clubs after this season.
The 25 year old Brazilian has been a consistent performer for the Bulgarian club, instrumental in his finishing and going forward to launch attacks on the opponent team goal. He has been one of the reasons behind a fairly good Champions League season for Ludogorets.
As per sources, with Lukaku looking to make a probable exit next season, Ronald Koeman is desperately looking for a good option who can give his team stability up front. Cafu can be a solution good enough for the problem faced by the Dutch manager of Everton.
