Jordi Alba, the Spanish left-back, currently playing for the Catalan giants Barcelona, has reportedly voiced his frustration for being left out of the side by current coach Luis Enrique most of the times during the current season. The Barcelona coach is presently looking to play a three-man defence in most of the matches, thus having to exclude the left back from his side.
As per sources, Manchester United is currently facing a lot of problems in the backline and is doing with makeshift defenders. With present left back Luke Shaw having problems to impress the Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho, Manchester United is looking to bring in a new left-back into their side for the next season and Jordi Alba looks to perfectly fit the bill.
However, the Spaniard has reportedly said that he wants to stay back with the Catalan giants and play a crucial role in their defence. But the present lack of match time might get the left back out of Nou Camp at the end of the current season.
Jose Mourinho, the present Red Devils manager has reportedly been disappointed with the lack of discipline from his side’s current left back Luke Shaw. The English international has also been out for most of the time this season with injuries and the Portuguese mastermind might look to get someone to replace him at the end of this season.
The Spanish international has started only 19 games this season, which reportedly has mounted on the frustration for him. In the current situation, a move to Old Trafford is reportedly looking very much a possible option for the left back.
Jordi Alba is known for his darting runs into the opposition defence, making it easier for the strikers to get a continuous supply of balls into the attacking third. His ability to go up front and join the attack at times has also come handy for Barcelona quite a few times. He also has the ability to chip in with crucial goals and is considered as one of the most diligent left backs in the current scenario.
However, a move to Stamford Bridge is also an option open for the Spanish international. Reportedly, the current Premier League leaders might have to let go off their influential left-back Cesar Azpilicueta at the end of their season and might be replaced by his compatriot Jordi Alba in the next season. Jordi Alba undoubtedly will be a good inclusion into the Blues side if the deal goes through.
