Andrea Belotti, the Italian striker currently playing for Torino, has been on the top of his form throughout the current season. His superb goal scoring record has made a number of big name clubs having a go at making the talented youngster a part of their line-up in the next season.
Reportedly, current Premier League leaders Chelsea are looking to make a bid for the Italian marksman in the next transfer window. Antonio Conte, the present Chelsea coach has been a big admirer of Torino striker and wants to bring him in next season as a potential replacement for his side’s current top scorer Diego Costa.
Reportedly, the Spanish striker has been offered a huge transfer deal from one of the top Chinese clubs, to which he has not said no as of yet. It is being rumoured that if the transfer happens in the next window, Andrea Belotti is looked up as a possible replacement by the Chelsea coach Antonio coach.
Belotti has scored 30 goals so far for Torino in this season all competitions put together. He is considered to be one of the best strikers in Europe currently. Along with his prolific goal scoring form, he has also assisted his teammates on five occasions to score goals. His precision in finishing with both feet as well as headers has been immaculate in the current season.
As per reports, Torino has slammed a price tag of a whopping £84 million on their striker as they go into the transfer window at the end of this season. Belotti, on the other hand, has reportedly said that he will only be leaving his current club provided his new club will provide him with the prospect of playing in the Champions League.
Manchester United has also been looking to bring in the Italian striker in their team for the next season. However, with the chance of not booking a place in the top four in the present season, it will be difficult to make Belotti wear their colours in the forthcoming season.
The huge release clause put on Belotti by Torino has made it difficult for Chelsea to go with the deal. Antonio Conte, the current Chelsea coach, is reportedly eyeing another young striker Federico Bernardeschi from the Italian side Fiorentina for the next season to replace Diego Costa in case the Spanish leaves for China in the next season. If the deal for Andrea Belotti does not go through, Bernardeschi will be a good option for the Blues coach to be included in his side.
